Echoed Margins

Gaia Ginevra Giorgi

Here I am, dear, and I apologize for the slow reply — my timing is as ancient as the trees, but in the end, I remember everything

For me, field recording is like approaching a threshold — a passage that opens onto the other.

I like to always carry a recording device with me, and to use it only rarely, when I’m truly drawn in by a particular sound or environment.

To cross that threshold and let myself be guided into an unexpected drift, I like to wear clothes that are comfortable and, in a way, austere — timeless.

At least one element must be able to flutter in the wind and perform pirouettes.

My garments must not make any sound; they need to be practical and utterly silent — almost scientific.
