對我而言,最理想的田野錄音服裝,是一種讓身體變得「不被打擾」的存在。它需要合身到不會發出摩擦聲,卻又寬鬆舒適,不顯露形體。
它應該能在內湖便利商店、大安森林公園、Sogo百貨、大稻埕等地自然地融入,不顯突兀。穿起來休閒,但細節端正;色彩低彩度、不張揚,但也不至於深藏不露。
這樣的衣服對外不刺激任何變因,對內不製造不安。我可以自在地行動,也能放心地移轉注意力。
當我站在某個定點錄音,我的身體感覺彷彿隱形了。我在傾聽,也在被傾聽。聲音流經我,讓我彷彿成為一個超小的迷你麥克風,靜靜掉落在世界某個角落。
The ideal field recording attire for me
should be fitted enough to avoid friction sounds,
yet loose and comfortable enough
to not reveal my body shape.
It should look casual
but with well-considered details,
in colors with low saturation—
subtle enough not to be too attention-grabbing,
but not so muted that it seems intentionally hidden.
The outfit should blend seamlessly
in locations like a convenience store in Neihu,
Da'an Forest Park,
Sogo Department Store,
or Dadaocheng,
without standing out.
This way,
my attention can be fully directed
towards the sounds I’m recording
and the world of sounds around me,
allowing my body to feel invisible.
It's as though
I am a tiny, miniature microphone,
casually dropped somewhere,
while my body fades into the background,
and I can focus on the flow of sound.
