蔡承歡 Tsai Chen Huan
聆聽的時候，我將自己視為環境的延伸。
When I listen, I see myself as an extension of the environment.
所以有沒有耳朵可能一點都不重要，
So whether or not I have ears may not matter at all,
但會有大大的腳掌去感受所有的波動跟連結，
but I have large feet to sense all the vibrations and connections,
有如樹木在森林裡溝通的的時候藉由樹根串起的訊息網絡，
like trees in a forest communicating through their root-bound information networks.
而傳遞溝通的能量這就是聲音本身。
And the energy of that communication—this is sound itself.
不管聲音進入的地方是哪裡，什麼樣的器官，
No matter where the sound enters, or through which organ,
最終在身體裡停留去被感受，
it ultimately lingers in the body to be felt.
身體成為一個用來承載的容器，
The body becomes a vessel for holding,
再由腳底流出。
and then it flows out through the soles of the feet.
至於情緒的感受，在聽覺過後當然會有，
As for emotional responses, of course they come after listening.
那應該就是尾巴，
That must be the tail—
尾巴是表達情緒最真實也最明顯的特徵。
the tail is the most honest and visible feature for expressing emotion.
可惜人類現在不用了，
Unfortunately, humans don’t use it anymore,
所以可以藏很多的秘密，
so they can hide many secrets.
但我想表露對聲音真實的情緒，
But I want to show my true emotions toward sound,
所以他有一個很明顯的尾巴！
so it has a very visible tail!
承歡的小動物們
The Tender Beasts of Cheng Huan
他覺得他很溫柔，所以他是粉紅色的（但也有可能是他對顏色誤解了什麼）
He thinks he's very gentle, so he is pink (but it might also be that he misunderstood something about color).
他的毛很軟，而且很長，所以抱起來軟軟的，但他也很愛抱抱，所以你可能會很熱。
His fur is very soft and long, so hugging him feels squishy. But he also loves hugs very much, so you might get a bit warm.
他的毛也很吸水，肚子中間那邊的毛特別的細緻所以蠻防水的，
His fur also absorbs water easily, but the fur in the middle of his belly is especially fine, so it’s fairly water-repellent.
如果鼻涕不小心流到中間的話，會馬上掉下來不會弄髒。
If your snot accidentally drips onto that part, it will fall off right away without making a mess.
哭的時候可以盡情的把鼻涕抹在上面
When crying, you can freely wipe your snot all over it.
Emotion and care as a medium. Sound as a means of engagement.
