我第一時間想起是自己一條墨綠色，有防水特性的尼龍褲。
The first thing that comes to mind is a pair of dark green, water-resistant nylon pants I own.
它是那種新技術機能系褲子，材料很薄，摸上去很滑，水花濺上去會變成水珠停在褲子表面。
They're made from some kind of new-tech performance fabric—very thin and smooth to the touch. When water splashes on them, it beads up and stays on the surface.
好幾次我嘗試錄音時，剛好當天穿了那條褲子，每當嘗試移動時它總會發出微微的磨擦聲。
A few times, I happened to be wearing these pants while trying to record sound, and whenever I moved, they would make a faint rustling noise.
微約的高頻小聲的在刮呀刮，無論我動作多慢多小都無法避免在錄音中聽到我身體移動的軌跡。
A barely-there, high-pitched scraping sound. No matter how slowly or gently I moved, the trace of my body’s motion would still be picked up in the recording.
如果穿它在街上走路，每一步都會發出聲音，一拍一拍。
Walking down the street in them, every step produces a sound—like a beat, a rhythm.
意外的聲音可以很有趣，我在演出時也很喜歡運用各種出乎意料的聲音。
Unexpected sounds can be quite interesting. I actually enjoy using surprising sonic elements during performances.
這條褲子卻有種當我嘗試閉上眼專心聆聽時，它輕輕叫一叫你「喔。。。不好意思」的感覺。
But these pants have this strange way of gently whispering “oh… sorry” right when I try to close my eyes and listen closely.
雖然如此，我仍是挺喜歡它，它很輕而且口袋很多，只是會避開要錄音的日子穿。
Still, I like them—they're lightweight and have lots of pockets. I just avoid wearing them on recording days.
我有一件很常穿的牛仔外套，幾年前從二手店買到。
I also have a denim jacket I wear all the time, which I found in a secondhand shop a few years ago.
除了剪裁和顏色很好搭配，它莫名奇妙地在外套設計了兩個隱藏口袋。
Besides having a cut and color that go well with everything, it also, quite mysteriously, has two hidden pockets.
左右各一個，剛好手能自然地伸進去放或拿東西，而不會使動作過分突兀。

How big are they? Big enough to fit my Zoom H6, a microphone, and my phone on each side.
到户外錄音有甚麼需要暫時放下，又隨時掏出來用的狀況下都十分適合。
When recording outdoors, where you often need to put things down temporarily but have them ready at hand, these pockets are perfect.
這種讓我可以自然操作的方便，而且好看，大概是我重視的吧？
That kind of ease—being able to move naturally while still looking good—might just be what I value most.
